PARIS, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Nice snatched a deserved 2-0 victory over Monaco on Saturday, beating their Riviera rivals for the second time in 10 days.

Striker David Bellion slotted the opener from the penalty spot in the eighth minute after Bakari Kone was fouled by goalkeeper Guillaume Warmuz inside the box.

Kone made it 2-0 when he outsprinted Monaco's last defender to net a left-foot shot 12 minutes from time.

The win sent Nice up from 10th to eighth in the table, above Monaco who have managed only one victory from seven league outings.
