Monaco (dpa) - A court in the principality of Monaco has sentenced a 30-year-old man to 16 days in prison for sending love letters to Princess Stephanie by SMS text message, court sources said Wednesday.
The man, who had worked in the royal palace at Monte Carlo as a valet, was already convicted of the same misdemeanour in November 2005 after sending 25 amorous text messages to the 41-year-old sister of Monaco's ruler, Prince Albert II. At that time, he was given a suspended sentence of eight days in jail.
